update: So I pick up a 3/4 inch thick piece of 2 by 2 foot precut plywood and bring it to the self serve checkout, but a young lady comes up to ring me out so I let her (silly me). She tries to read the barcode but it's on the bottom near the basket, so instead of turning the wood around she tries to tear off the sticker. I turn it around for her but by then the tag is mutilated. So she proceeds to get on a pad to try calculating the price, and calls over a young guy with ruby red hair to help. At length they finally ask me what price showed on the aisle, I say $10.98 but they don't buy that. So they continue with their calculations and finally come up with $13(something) for what showed on the screen as 5mm wide 2x2. Seeing as how 5mm is a far cry from 3/4 inches, that meant I had to walk her all the way back to where I got it so she could scan it off the shelf tag. 15 minutes of that stuff. Btw, I was wrong about the price. It was actually $10.29 (silly me). previous review: Seems there's always something with this place. Items scanning at prices other than as marked on shelves, store credits not processing correctly.... This time I needed a piece of plywood cut to size. After waiting in their lumber department for a guy to show, he tells me their saw isn't working. As I recall, it wasn't working last time I needed plywood cut, either. Thank goodness for Lowe's (on Elysian Fields).

Hands down this was the best and most helpful employees I’ve seen other than a high end retailer. Every employee that passed spot and asked if I needed assistance. And also thanked me for shopping with them. Homedepot Bullard I-10 service road. New Orleans.

You would expect better customer service since it’s the only place to go in the east. Customer service is below standard. I see employees hiding, some just look at you, and they hardly smile. The 10 foot rule is obsolete. I’ve been shopping there for 15 years. If have to ask anyone for anything, I just go to the chalmette location. Everyone says hello whether you need help or not with a smile.
