I had a very disappointing experience at the Home Depot on L Street while picking up an order for a DoorDash customer. When I arrived, another customer kindly offered to let me go ahead of him since I was simply there to pick up a completed order. Instead of handling the situation professionally, a manager named Mike immediately got an attitude and told me, “You people always think you can cut in line.” I found that comment disrespectful, inappropriate, and completely uncalled for. I wasn’t demanding special treatment, arguing, or attempting to skip ahead without permission. Another customer had voluntarily offered me his place in line. The phrase “you people” was especially troubling. Whether Mike was referring to me because I was a DoorDash driver, because of my appearance, or for some other reason, it came across as biased and discriminatory. At best, it was an unfair stereotype about delivery drivers. At worst, it could easily be interpreted as something more. Either way, it was not something a manager should be saying to a customer. As someone providing a service for a customer, I expect to be treated with the same basic courtesy and respect as anyone else. There was no reason for a manager to make a blanket statement like that or speak to me in such a condescending manner. Customer service starts with leadership, and unfortunately this interaction left a very negative impression. I hope Home Depot addresses how employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and customers are spoken to in the future, because no one should be made to feel singled out or judged for simply doing their job.

I would like to say how much I enjoy shopping at this location. They always have a nice selection of plants. Sometimes, they have some less pretty plants on clearance if you are willing to give the plants some extra attention. Mine have come back great. The biggest reason is the customer service from Harley Cazinha. He is always willing to assist in loading my heavy items. He has a great attitude, and it is obvious he enjoys his job. The cashier didn't know they offered assistance in loading soil, but Harley came forward and assisted without hesitancy. It allows me to make my purchase and grow my garden. Thank you.

$5,000 Special order Feather River door couldn't have got more screwed up, part-time millwork guys have no idea what they're doing. Delivery boy never shows up to deliver or can't tell time. Management offers $100.00 gift card for my troubles never received card, and $5,000 front door still screwed up and nobody is to blame. Good thing I didn't buy my windows for my house millword boys would have screwed that up to. I won't be back to this store.

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE. Just go to NFM. I learned my lesson. Absolutely incompetent staff. Poor communication with clients and product manufacturers. THEY KEEP NOTHING IN STOCK. My wife and I had our delivery date for our washer and dryer pushed back twice being assured by Jackson and Will that delivery was coordinated with the manufacture and delivery was guaranteed. That was a lie. Their solution was for us to go to a laundromat and save our receipts and they would reimburse us. I thought I was working with a hardware store, not a circus. We ended up cancelling the order and getting a refund. NFM had us in and out in 30 min with in-stock options and delivery scheduled in 2 days.

We special ordered a product and when we got it home it was damage in the box from shipping ( this happens) so we took it back. They reordered the product, it came in and the store called and said it was in and they opened the box, checked it all out and it was all great and ready to go. My wife picked it up and they loaded it. She get home and I go to unload and I see a hole in the front of the box that was rubbed through from shipping. I opened it and it was all broke up again. Oh, we drove 35 miles to get to Home Depot too. It didn't get all broke up in the back seat for her car.. This is what's wrong in America, completely BAD service and they want minimum wage higher. We need to get back to weed out the worthless people and get people that want to do the best they can.
