Be prepared to find whatever you need on your own, help is non existent. And I don't mean that they don't have people roaming around, I mean that these people know zero.. less than zero. First person i asked" where are the shower fixture parts?"...bo response and head down into device while i stood there like a bozo. After about 30-45 seconds, i just walked on, ill find out myself. Then, I asked 2 different people, "which way is Isle 5?" Both had no idea and started to walk to the middle isle to look and see which way it was...how do you not know that if your working there? And then I found what I was supposedly looking for, the app told me isle and bay, and that there were 12 in stock.... well, I got to the place where they should be, and nada. I searched and searched, zero. Then I stupidly asked, he instantly went head down in his device, and said "we should have them " and proceeded to do exactly what I just did, after I told him exactly what I just did, and then said, "I guess not". Wow....just wow. I left without getting the very simple shower handle part I came for on a 20 minute drive because the app said it was in stock. I went to Ace hardware on my way home, was helped by knowledgeable personnel, and the same exact part was $78 at ACE instead of $74 at Lowe's. I'd much rather pay a bit more and get good service and the part im looking for. I have no idea what I was thinking going to Lowe's, never again unless they're the only ones who has it.

Pretty basic selection and expensive if you just need a little of this and that—Pretty accommodating and plenty of parking. I need to find the little ma&pa hw stores who can sell me only what I need. Go up in price and quality improves but you’re paying top $ for a 5 screws or 2x for 20. The cheap ones are in high quantity because you’ll ruin the first three. Just get the one expensive screw and don’t ruin the work. They so have some good stuff too. I find their staff put up with my nonsense when I seem impossible to appease. They are a vital pillar in the community.

This store changed a lot since I visited few years ago. It is a friendly and organized place to shop for home improvement needs. Security is much improved when compared to few years back. I would recommend this place.

I ordered 4 plywood panels for delivery from this store. The only delivery options were Thursdays, so I selected the next Thursday, with a delivery window of 12 - 4 pm. After ordering, I got conflicting information on whether I would expect the order between 12 - 4 or between 8 am - 8 pm (which is obviously an annoyingly disruptive window). About a day before, I got an order update that my order would be delivered between 3:30 - 7:30, which required me to move things around. The next day, this window came and went, and I got a call afterwards from the delivery driver that I would not get the items and it would be brought back to the store to re-attempt delivery. Here is where it goes from annoying to just plain weird (and also, extremely annoying). I spoke to someone (not sure from which store) who promised me a delivery for the next Tuesday (that never happened). No one from the San Francisco Lowe's ever called to let me know what was going on. Somehow, my item ended up at the Antioch Lowe's store. All the online help tools did not help me figure this out (they kept saying the order was scheduled for delivery). I only found out what was happening because someone from the Antioch Lowe's called me and told me that they had my items, but that they were outside of my delivery window and did not possess the ability in 2026 to derive a way to get these plywood panels to me. After asking them to talk to the San Francisco store and figure something out, or have them call me, I never heard a peep from the San Francisco store. Instead, a couple days later, the Antioch store told me the San Francisco store is out of stock of this item (and may not even stock it in general?)-side note, I confirmed with them that I did indeed place the order from the San Francisco store-and cannot get this item to me. They ended up issuing me a refund after wasting a week of my life and delaying an urgent project. I want to like the San Francisco Lowe's for its convenient location, but apparently delivery from this store cannot be trusted whatsoever. They may not even have the item you delivered. And they certainly won't reach out to you to help you in any way. It seems like your best bet for customer service is to contact the folks at the Antioch Lowe's who actually pick up the phone, even if they still can't help you.

Try to call this store and you get a stupid AI assistant. If you try to reach an actual human being you’ll just sit on hold indefinitely. I ordered something for my parents that was “in stock” and supposed to be available by a certain day and is now delayed with no ETA, no information, and no ability to actually talk to a human unless I drive an hour to show up in person. Nice.
