West Wichita Home Depot has honestly been one of the better big-box stores lately. I’ve been there constantly for remodeling, repairs, gardening, and random “my house broke again” emergencies, and the employees are usually actually helpful. Store is generally stocked better than most places around here too. Only complaint? They almost never markdown struggling plants in the garden section, which feels criminal when some of us are trying to rescue them on a budget.

WOW - Alex from the paint department completely changed our experience. It went from a quick run in to grab paint errand to getting help from one of the most friendliest, knowledgeable workers there! This man deserves a raise! We will absolutely be coming back to this specific home depot just because of him. We just bought a house and Alex took the time to explain so much to us as new home owners. His customer service and knowledge is truly wonderful!

Friendly and helpful service with the paint department and appliances department. I bought a refrigerator and the information said it was in stock but it wasn't. The biggest problem is they don't deliver to Harper. It's only an hour trip. Hopefully they will add deliveries to there.

Wow! What a huge disaster! The delivery time said between midnight and noon on our paperwork, so I called to see if we had any control over this. The store told me they have nothing to do with this. Call the 1-800 number. The customer service was terrible here, with the representative not letting me get my questions in before she talked over me answering questions people might usually have, but I didn't. I needed to know if we could push the delivery time to after 1:00. She basically didn't answer my question, saying we could "request it." I heard the day before that our delivery was scheduled for 2:30-6:30 PM, so this is what we told our future daughter in law since she was in Wichita and we were still moving from out-of-state. By 7:00, we checked the tracking which still said it should have been delivered by then. My son's girlfriend worked a full shift and ubered there at 1. By 8:00 PM, she was exhausted and had not eaten dinner, just waiting around for a delivery that did not come until 9:45! There wasn't even a phone call until after 9PM saying when they planned to arrive. They dropped our washer and dryer up and didn't even hook it up. Great. Thanks a lot! We figured they were HOURS late due to trouble with installations. Clearly not. We will NEVER shop at Home Depot EVER again as long as we live.

I ordered 60 feet of schedule 40 PVC pipe. Go to the store to receive foam core pipe instead. Not the same. Foam core is cheaper, not pressure rated, and garbage. The cashier said it's the same SKU which is quite revealing. This means they're intentionally selling a cheaper product under a different item listing. If that's not deceptive bait and switch practice, than I don't know what is.
