Lucia in paint is amazing! She made sure I got the right color, even closed my old paint tin for me. Great customer service! She was so helpful and even popped over to the cashier to make sure I was checked out right!

This is our local home Depot. So we're here quite often. It's typical to find a short line, but it usually moves pretty quick. I'm not a fan of self-checkout. Usually there will be an associate to help. People are friendly. Store is well stocked. Parking can be atrocious. They're doing the best of what they've got in this shopping center. What they do excellent at is this first Saturday of the month kid project. That's why you're getting five stars HD. Keep it up!

I shop at the Home Depot off Strickland Road in Raleigh pretty regularly, and it is a solid, dependable store. The layout is clean and easy to navigate, and most items are well stocked. Lumber quality is typical for a big box store, meaning you still need to sort through boards, but that is expected and not an issue unique to this location. The garden section is usually in good shape, especially during the main planting seasons. What really stands out here is the staff. When you find someone on the floor, they tend to be friendly and genuinely knowledgeable, especially the tradespeople. Andrew and Archie in particular have been consistently helpful and clearly know their stuff. It makes a big difference dealing with people who have real hands on experience rather than just reading off a label. Checkout is usually smooth, parking can get busy on weekends but is manageable, and the location is convenient for North Raleigh. Overall, this is a reliable Home Depot that does its job well, with staff that make the experience better than average.

I had a very disappointing experience at that The Home Depot, specifically at the Tool Rental department. The employee named Gerry (or Garry) was extremely unprofessional in the way he communicated, especially toward Latino customers. His tone came across as disrespectful, with very little empathy or willingness to help. The responses were short, dry, and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. I’ve been a loyal Home Depot customer for over 5 years, and I have never felt treated this way before. Customer service should be welcoming and respectful to everyone, regardless of background. I hope management takes this seriously and works on improving the customer experience in this department.

What a complete joke! Bought a 700$ grill here because advertised free delivery and install. They would even bring it to my back yard… Finally got it back the and grilled for the first time just to notice it was put together incorrectly and the hot grease had melted my gas line. Not only could I have killed myself but, my wife and kids also. Did Home Depot care??? Nope! Sent me to their insurance company who gave me the run around before explaining that they only cover property damage. They referred me back to Home Depot who insured me someone would be in touch in 24-48 hours. 2 weeks later nothing! So, I decide to email the ceo of Home Depot because he will surely want to help a loyal customer that has been treated poorly right!? Nope, he had his secretary email me to call the insurance company back! I just moved into a new house and bought all of our appliances at Home Depot. Wish I could take them all back. I will never shop at a Home Depot again! I would recommend everyone not shop there either unless you want to support a company that doesn’t care at all about their costumers!
