Five stars for Ender—E-N-D-E-R—at the Cave Creek Phoenix Home Depot: Store #480 It was the usual Home Depot circus: employees avoiding eye contact like I was radioactive. Then Ender appeared—calm, professional, and ready to help. He said, “Let me help,” disappeared, and returned pushing a flat cart like he’d personally invented customer service. He loaded the toilet onto the cart, walked it all the way to checkout with me, and then Tetris’d that toilet perfectly into my Kia Soul. No fuss. No hassle. Just outstanding service. Pure 1990s customer service—in the very best way—and definitely not the 2025 version. Ender deserves recognition.

My husband and I walked in the other day to look at stackable washer and dryers to make more room in our laundry room and to get an outside freezer. Lino, who’s awesome, leads us straight back to appliances where he asks Gus to help choose both and order them. We asked lots of questions about the washer and dryers and before we finished choosing one, Gus walked away to lead us to look at freezers. My husband had to say we’re not done yet so he came back. Then when it came time to ordering, he could not figure out how to order our things. He kept pressing the wrong things and had start the entire order over 3 times. Then ultimately had to bring it up to the front registers where a woman who helps us often and is also great, finished it out and ordered it. Today is delivery day and somehow the order got through two employees without realizing they didn’t order a stacking kit that allows the washer and dryer to stack upon installation that we paid for. Gus is the one that went through the whole process with us and knew we were stacking them, there was no question about that. So if we’re pointed to the one guy on appliances who’s supposed to help and know what to do and then this happens, I’m not sure what ya’ll are doing. Very frustrating. We’ve unhooked and sold our old washer and dryers already so now while waiting for this stacking kit to be ordered, we can’t do any laundry that needs to be done. Roman who was the manager on duty today was incredibly rude and short with us and would not take responsibility or apologize until the very end after lots of back and forth. He tried to say there’s nothing they can do to help us today so to have us call tomorrow. We refused because we have the new washer and dryer sitting on the street out front of our house unwrapped. So he got on the phone and tried to resolve it but was huffing and puffing and irritated through the whole conversation. Unacceptable, unprofessional behavior from a manager. Very unfortunate experience at a Home Depot location we frequently go to for home projects, jobs and otherwise.

This is my favorite home depot store. I have been working on my rental property in the last few month and have been a lot of home depot stores around the valley. This one is by far the best management. My favorite guy is the window department Mike. He is very friendly and good at his job. My general contractor is also highly recommended this store.

Shout out to Dave T. in plumbing. He is amazing and I appreciate him! Just went to pick up parts for a new shower I'm putting in my home. Saw online that there was only one in stock at this location. Called and Dave walked out to confirm it was physically there. Along the way he must of checked in on half a dozen customers in store and directed them to what they needed. When I got there he had a cart ready for me and took me to find other parts I needed for the project. Impeccable customer service! Glad I had the chance to thank him in person but also wanted others to know.

We love going here to get plants and talk with the very knowledgeable Miss Dee. We've got an entire jungle spread from the inside to our porch and most all plants are surviving just fine thanks to the tips we've been given. Thanks for everything, we'll be back soon.
