Huge location! Always has good prices and deals going on. Clean restrooms in the back. We'll air conditioned store. Can be hard to find a parking spot when they are busy and they need to expand their parking lot to deal with the heavy foot traffic, which is why I am giving it 4 stars.

I went to this home depot location on Howe avenue this morning (3/10/26) with my child, as I was shopping I received a phone call from a family member, letting me know they needed me as it was an emergency. So put the 2 items back on the shelf and I left my cart inside and i Continued to walk out the entrance door (because I was parked close to this door and needed to leave the store immediately with my child. But once I exited a worked followed me outside and took her phone out and started Taking pictures of me my child, and my Vehicle. I looked at her and asked if there was an issue and she Started being very hostile with me in front of my kid, yelling at me saying that I’m acting guilty, and she Can take pictures of anyone she wants to. I said I’m just wondering why she’s taking pictures of me my child, as I was very uncomfortable and felt harassed. I’m sure she was racially profiling me, probably thought I stole something because of what I look like and that I left out the entrance. This isn’t ok! You never know what someone is going through and to harass a customer for no reason is completely unacceptable! Come on Home Depot! hire better people that have costumer service skills!

Although this is my go-to HD, and I find the store generally well stocked and employees both knowledgeable and helpful (yesterday a gentleman took his time in going over a promotional sale's details and was quite patient with me), one thing has been building and literally hit the floor today. Within the indoor garden shop it's clear pigeons have been roosting overhead for some time. I've noticed it before, but today when I fortunately stepped back from a sales display, the bird's aerial bomb just missed my head as it went to the floor, where its clear they rest above regularly. I began looking for some garden seeds at the display and, well, it's clear this area and the birds overhead are being ignored. The amount of bird droppings not just on the floor but on the sales display from which I was possibly going to make purchases was substantial. And no, its not a day two's worth but more like weeks or a season. Unhealthy and pretty gross. As a home improvement store this HD likely has bird deterrents and structural materials capable of keeping the birds out of the garden shop while protecting their merchandise and customers....it's time to use them. Sorry to post this here, but I did look (unsuccessfully) for a direct email address online for a manager.

Great parking lot to meet to exchange dogs. Whoever is pooping in the bathroom has an unhealthy diet!

This review is specifically for James in the paint department at the power inn location He was so friendly.and helpful. He really acted like he cared and wanted to make sure that I got the right information and the right shade and then I was prepared for the project that I was gonna do. He gave me great tips and also helped me save some money when telling me to buy a bigger quantity.!! Thank you James you made my experience at Home Depot in the paint department really great today.
