David Simpson 10 months agoThis home depot has a pretty large garden center accessible from inside and outside the building. Lots of indoor and outdoor plants available. Customer service available for all your planting needs. They have there own department with cashiers and also specialists to speak to. They have everything you need in this department.
Brandon Peart 10 months agoThis location won't take returns without the physical receipt, even if you have a photograph of it. I've had many cashiers refused to do an email receipt before as this is easier to archive. Needless to say, I won't be giving this location business until they get I to the 21st century.
Dario Curiel 6 months agoFrank was extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist me. Great customer service, thank you!
Elizabeth Anderson 2 years agoWell stocked with seasonal plants for the garden. Not a high end fufu inventory but the plants are chosen with the correct growing zones in mind. They appear healthy and well maintained. Gardening tools and accessories are available. The staff is courteous. You can checkout at the garden register to avoid the general hardware area.
david jr 8 years agoHome Depot on its debut was the warehouse store that had everything. Then it changed hands and corporate culture took over. Now Home Depot only carries inventory they can easily sell. This store at the Marketplace works hard to keep a shine on their image in a market place that tends to be ghetto. Sometimes the corporation and the ghetto get the best of them. Today I returned a product that had set on the shelf for a while before I bought it. It had a hole in the packaging but I bought it anyway. The selection was poor; not much demand for patio/tennis court screening apparently. Turns out I didn't need it. A friend gave me some he had. So I taped the hole shut with clear packaging tape, neatly so it could sell. When I opened the bag it appeared as if someone might have bought it, cut some out of it and then returned it. But I couldn't be sure. I suspected I might have trouble returning it. And its not the first time I've found merchandise in broken packaging at that store but bought it anyways after a quick check that it was complete. I used to work in a hardware store so I sympathize with this corporate entity none the less. Not to my surprise, the clerk at the returns desk had to get approval from the dept - the garden shop. because she has seen too many hucksters trying to pull a fast one to save a couple of bucks. Good for her but bad for me - careless shopper - let the buyer beware at least at this store. Nevertheless I got approval and got my $93.72 back for this item. Yes. Let the buyer beware. But overall, the employees are good honest people having to serve people of questionable integrity. They have my praise for just for hanging in there. I have been shopping there many years already and there are some familiar faces that I'm beginning to know better. Today I have to say I was thoroughly impressed by the young man at the self check out area - very outgoing, cheerful helpful and friendly. A new fresh face. He could go far if he doesn't get burnt and jaded beforehand. I seem to like Home Depot less and less but not because of the personnel. Here the have, if not the best, at least very good. ****
