We get our Christmas tree here each December, they're great trees, nicer and cheaper than elsewhere. Clairemont Home Depot's trees are fresh, this year the the needles were still soft after a month in a dry house, few needles fell off, Staff ask early and often if I need help and go the extra mile. This is a change from years ago when there was understaffing. My only complaint: we need more landscape plants suited to San Diego's climate and low water use.

The Garden Center at The Sports Area Home Depot is a full service center. They sell many different types of mulch and fertilizers, bags of redwood chips, and different types of stonework. They have myriad flowers that are stocked on a seasonal basis ( depending on the time of year ) : planter boxes and myriad types of liquid and solid pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Because the holidays are nearing they will have different colours of poinsettias and real evergreen trees ( Last year I was told that they had a inferior crop because Christmas trees grown for commercial use are grown on ecologically regulated Christmas tree farms ). You need to buy a stand that you can fill with water because they still absorb water like a cut plant and water stops them from drying out early. They do everything to prep your tree for you. There are still lots of winter flowers like pansies, daisies and others. They have beautiful orchids and Christmas decorations, lighting set ups and other supplies. They also have nice fabricated decorations and a very knowledgeable staff to help you.

I bought a beautiful Hawaiian ti leaf plant and I can't wait to get it home. I've cultivated two reds and one green plant that I brought from Oahu but I have never seen any Hawaiian ti leaves at The Home Depot so I was excited to see them today!

Just Like other home depot : huge, so many varieties, has garden center, plenty of parking, has self checkouts. I dont go to home depot too often but they sell item that is not sold by other stores.
