Keeping one star for me 😀 I have been to many many Home Depot but this one exceeded my expectations multiple times. Everytime I went there during my recent visit to Chicago (to setup my daughter’s condo) there would be more than one person willing to help - and they will not just stop by telling the isle number where I would find my stuff, rather will come and talk. I came to know that are even part time PhD students working there. Even their return customer service team was so helpful. So nice to go back there if I have to again.

I asked someone to come out and measure for a garage side door. I rush out and while they were on time, they didn't have their information right and basically wanted me to reschedule. Yeah, lol, no. I'm going to go with someone else if somebody can't read a simple work order for a side garage door, I definitely won't be buying 10 windows, 2 storm doors, repair on one window, and no work in the future. That's insane. Reading comprehension has gone right out the window. If there WERE a question, call/text and ASK. Also, why two different people for a job on doors and windows? That's dumb! I'm very hesitant to deal with anyone who can't read a simple work order and follow simple instructions. He was polite, but he tried to put it off on the sales guy. Which was bull, because it's right there on the order. Very unfair to the guy at the store who didn't do anything wrong. Man up and take responsibility when you screw up. Also, be right there with coupons and discounts when you DO. The sales guy knew exactly what I wanted and I said it at least twice. The side ENTRY door. It's not that hard.

There is a man who works here named TONY. Tony provided hands down the BEST customer service i have ever received in my life. Extremely knowledgeable about electrical problems. Guys an absolute champ. If you come in to this place ask for tony hell sort you out right.
