Extremely disappointed with my experience with the Home Depot location in Wyncote. I purchased a NEW vanity for nearly $500 and it arrived visibly damaged with scratches, chipped particle board, drawer alignment issues, scraped drawer handles, and cosmetic defects throughout the entire unit. The condition of the packaging made it obvious the box had likely been opened and resealed countless times. What made this even worse was discovering signs of water damage inside the vanity, which strongly suggests this may have already been installed in someone else’s home, removed, and then resold as “new.” If Home Depot is going to resell returned or damaged merchandise, it should be clearly disclosed and heavily discounted, not sold at full price. A vanity in this condition belongs in a clearance section for $150, not sold as brand new for $500. I immediately documented everything with photos and contacted customer service. I was promised a follow-up call the next day, and no one ever reached out. After having to call back myself and escalate the situation, I was then told they would not pick up the damaged item. This entire situation has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to fight for resolution after receiving a damaged product that appears previously used. Between the poor quality control, lack of communication, and refusal to properly resolve the issue, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I can’t speak for every Home Depot location, but I would strongly caution customers against shopping at the Wyncote store based on my experience. Personally, after this experience, I will never shop with this company again. I truly hope this review gets the attention of Timothy Mack as well as Home Depot executive leadership, including Ted Decker (CEO), Billy Bastek (Executive VP of Merchandising), Jordan Broggi (Executive VP of Customer Experience), Hector Padilla (Executive VP of U.S. Stores and Operations), John Deaton (Executive VP of Supply Chain and Product Development), and Stephanie Smith (Executive VP). Customers should not receive damaged, potentially previously used merchandise sold as “new,” then be forced to fight for basic customer service and resolution afterward.

I usually avoid this location at all costs but it’s close to my house so I did it to myself today. Of course self checkout was closed at 7pm because, why not? I was told it closes 1 hour before the store closes. Why? Cheryl tried to explain about how management needs it closed early everyday to prepare for closing.🙄She said she wasn’t sure if other locations did it but they needed to at the Cheltenham location. Ok sure, Whatever you say, but why then only have one register open? They finally opened more after the line got ridiculously long. Everyone in the line was complaining. I’m going to the Willow Grove location tomorrow before closing to see if they have the same policy.

I started a project in Germantown, Philadelphia, and this Home Depot location has been the closest and most convenient for us. We’ve shopped here often, and out of all the Home Depot stores I’ve visited, this one stands out as the best for fix-and-flip projects. Mike and Bruce have been especially helpful with every transaction. I’ll definitely continue shopping at this location for all my projects in Philadelphia.

I just want to take a moment and make sure she is recognized for her wonderful energy and kindness! Today I stopped in for some bait and I could not locate it and Debbie swooped in and helped me in a heartbeat with such amazing energy! I was honestly so impressed and thankful for her help ! That woman is the face of homedepot customer support ❤️
