Maybe I should try Lowe’s😒 I went in to Home Depot to get something to fix the plumbing, and I was having trouble finding it. After staring at a wall of parts, an employee approached me asking if I needed help. Which that’s a good thing, but the way he acted was bizarre. He was only willing to give half information, then he would stop and say he couldn’t really tell me anymore. I didn’t understand what he was doing. He personally approached me, acted like my issue was a huge project, when it really wasn’t, and kept giving me partial information. When I asked for more, he said he couldn’t tell me because he didn’t want to get in trouble if I messed something up. I explained it was on me if I made a mistake, but he kept saying, “No, no, no, I’m a nice guy. I’m used to getting screwed over by being helpful.” I guess he was “right” seeing as I’m writing this review :p It was extremely confusing. He told me I needed to cut into my piping, which was not true, and picked out parts that would have added way more work than needed. I was very specific and clear about what I was doing, so I didn’t understand why he was saying this. He even suggested buying temporary parts until I could get a professional, and when I explained that wasn’t an option, he rolled his eyes. At one point, he kept asking if I understood, and when I said “not really,” I realized I was wasting my own time so I finally just said “yeah, I’m fine” and walked away because it had become ridiculous. Then another employee approached me. I explained what was going on, and he was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained exactly what I needed, and I didn’t have to cut into anything. It cost a lot less, and it required far fewer parts. He even shared that he had worked in the plumbing industry before, and it was clear he knew what he was talking about even someone like me, who doesn’t know much about plumbing, could see that. I wish I remembered his name to give him the praise he deserves. I want to say his name was Ray… but I’m not positive. I still have no idea what was going on with the first employee. If he didn’t know how to help or didn’t feel comfortable, he shouldn’t have personally approached me and acted like my simple project was a huge deal. His behavior was unprofessional, confusing, and made me very uncomfortable. Home Depot is supposed to help customers with projects, not make them feel stressed and misled. The contrast between the first employee and the second one was night and day, and it made the experience unnecessarily frustrating.

Everything was easy to find with the app. Employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Cashier laughed me all the way through checkout. 100% positive experience. Thank you Home Depot.

Very clean inside. Didn't interact with any of the employees so don't have any comment on their customer service. Have lots of items in stock. Very spacious parking lot plenty of parking spaces. Their garden section is also well taken care of. Very happy with out stop.

I’m writing this review to say thank you very much!. I went shopping for propane yesterday and I left my wallet with money and one of the baskets I forgot about it to the next day I went back late went to customer service and right away they helped me out. They had my wallet with everything in it and that just show What a great team they have honest team Thank you all Home Depot.🫶

One of the better (Home Depot) stores in Bakersfield as far as their shelves being sorted correctly. The employees are helpful, at least the ones working the electrical isle.
