This home depot has a lot of business but I can still get thru it fairly quickly. And when you are having to go for something you need that is a nice thing. Part of that is with the help of the employees and their efforts to move things along. I was concerned with the location and having tools out in my truck/car/van while I was inside...but I've never had a problem at all. Parking is good, always have an open spot and as long as you avoid rush hours it's a good location close to lots of the city.

Update from 3/31/26: This is still not resolved. Home Depot corporate and the local store have been in touch with us, but for some reason, can’t seem to get this across the finish and have ghosted us at least once when they said they would show up for all the repairs and installation. One person came once with a couple of window locks that didn’t even work. I think one of the locks did work. Original from mid-February 2026: I’m writing to warn everybody against using Home Depot‘s home window installation service until I give an update that this was resolved. We have experienced a $7000 faulty window purchase and installation service. I am expecting a reply within 30 business days. To remedy this, we are requesting a full fix of all reported and documented faults, or a full refund of the entire service of approx. $7000. DISPUTE DETAILS Transaction Date and Location: September 2025 order approx $2300 deposit. December 2025 installation. Business Commitment: Home Depot committed to providing 4 custom windows (approx. 6ft x 3ft) with functioning screens, security locks, and airtight installation for roughly $7000. Nature of Dispute: One window was sized incorrectly and leaks air. Three of the four windows arrived with broken child/security locks. Three screens arrived with visible rips and holes. Two flat locking levers fail to close, meaning those windows cannot be secured. Attempted Resolution: Since December 2025, we have sent over 7 emails and made numerous calls. Both a subcontractor and a manager named Jeff visited the site. A Seattle city inspector viewed the exterior for a permit but did not inspect internal defects. The Home Depot representatives emphatically confirmed the defects verbally. Jeff stated the bedroom window required full replacement and that all other parts were being resolved. Current Status: As of mid-February 2026, zero repairs have been made. The windows remain in the same condition as the day of installation. We have received no updates on progress, parts, or dates. We paid the final $4600 on installation day, totaling roughly $7000 for a product that is currently damaged and insecure. We believe the business is not making a good-faith effort to resolve these documented issues. Desired Outcome: We are requesting that Home Depot either complete all repairs within 30 days or provide a full refund so we may hire a contractor to fix the installation. We believe we can resolve this directly and seek an amicable solution

What can I say I love this Home Depot. Been a customer for years and they've always treated me well. They do a ton of business being in the SODO area. Also have to deal with an assortment of visitors. They keep it well stocked and maintained. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a create dedicated team. Hats off to the management for putting together and leading a stellar group of employees that make it a joy to visit even in an emergency. Keep it up! 👍

Always a reliable spot for home projects. This location is generally well- stocked and organized, though it gets very busy with contractors. staff like Andrew and Magda are standout pros- super helpful with complex orders. Parking can be tight, so grab the first spot you see ! Consistent 4/5.
