I bought an indoor palm at this store, and even though it looked happy and healthy when I bought it, within a few weeks it was infested with mealybugs. None of my other plants have pests, so I can confidently isolate this infestation to its origins at Home Depot. I took the plant out of the container and found that the soil was full of mealybugs. I had to cut back most of the leaves because they were dying. DO NOT BUY HOUSEPLANTS AT THIS (OR ANY) HOME DEPOT.

Went today to purchase a large rolling tool box. Not generally a Home Depot customer. We usually stick to Lowes. Surprisingly we found exactly what we were looking for. Needed help loading and Joel helped us. He was GREAT! If I could leave 10 stars for the service he provided I happily would. Super friendly,, took care care loading our items, made sure we didn’t need help securing in our truck. Hopefully someone will see this and recognize JOEL for the superior service.

Total Waste of Time - Don't Bother Going Here I need a corded electric lawn mower. I went to this Home Depot store to compare models and see how well they are constructed. They don't have a single lawn mower on display! The aisle I was directed has only locked steel mesh with a few boxes behind. IF IT"S LOCKED UP IT'S NOT FOR SALE! I repeat: IF IT'S LOCKED UP IT'S NOT FOR SALE! They did not even have the lawn mower of interest in a box. What good is this store if it doesn't have actual products that one can touch, examine and compare? Worthless waste of time. I just ordered a Black and Decker corded electric lawn mower from Amazon. It will arrive at my front door tomorrow. DON'T WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME WITH HOME DEPOT!

Been here a few times in the last week or two, and haven't had complaints. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful as well as tentative often offering assistance without request. In one quick trip had two associates initiate contact resulting in saving me time, and when checking out the employee recommended becoming a Pro member. Ultimately I saved nearly twenty percent by doing so as well as helpful organization for potential end of the year tax write offs for home improvement. PS good taco trucks too! LOL

My Dad always comes here and when he's too busy to stop by, he has me pickup his orders. Sometimes, he forgets to pre-order and gas me roam around the store, asking the story chill employees for help. Other times, my Dad remembers to place an online order and I just have to pick it up (the latter is so much easier and super convenient). He sends me the code and the employees scan it and send me on my way with the goods. Speaking on the employees, they're very hard workers and always eager to help me find anything, it doesn't matter what the price is or item is. I always have a great experience at this location and most locations. Only one location was weird (cough Campbell cough). Santa Clara has the most open minded employees and they're helpful. I give them five stars out of five stars for empathy. They don't act surprised that I'm a woman and have a Pro membership. It's technically my Dad's membership and since I seasonally work for him, he allows me to use it still when I do small jobs for his construction company. I love The Home Depot. Sometimes, I'll be bored and come to window shop and plan out future projects. I've been coming with my Dad since I was a baby. It's super nostalgic and I definitely have a lot of classical conditioning going on with this place and fond memories. I remember when they had family events and gave us balloons and other cool kid's stuff when I was three years old. I even have the pictures somewhere to prove it. I'll post them when I find them. I think it was one of the South San José locations though. But all the locations probably did it. The Home Depot; my home when I don't want to be home. Ps. I don't get anxiety from coming here but Valley Fair mall will drive me crazy. The Home Depot had the opposite effect; very calming. I love you guys. Keep up the great work. PPS. I love writing, my grammar and syntax have been a bit off in my reviews but this is just a review, not a professional magazine article nor graduate school essay. 😂
