This is a huge shout out to "OG Michael" at the Home Depot at Teller and Colfax (7200 W Colfax). I was there to pick up parts to solve 3 different plumbing problems, and he understood all the issues, helped me find the parts that were spread out in 3 different places in the store, and was extremely helpful in brainstorming how to solve a funky little issue that needed a kluge solution. He was helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant, and available to help. Amazing customer service!

Apparently, allowing customers to give them money in exchange for merchandise isn't that important to them. I went to buy some nails, on a Wednesday at 6pm. The entire hardware section was cordoned off. I grabbed some other things I needed and came back to hardware. The guy on the cherry picker was just looking around, raising the basket up and down, looking around, up and down, up and down. I waited for a few minutes, he wasn't pulling stock down, just seemed like he was trying to look busy without actually doing anything. I asked him if he was going to be a while and he shrugged and said, "Yeah. I'm going to be a while," like a flippant child. This was an adult man who looked to be at least 50 acting like a sassy teenager, annoyed that a customer was trying to buy things. You'd think the hardware section of a home improvement store would be available for purchases during business hours. Or at least he do whatever he was doing during off hours, like near closing time. And maybe not be so rude to customers. Isn't the whole point of a store that I give you money for stuff? I took my business elsewhere.

Thank you to JJ who went above and beyond to help me! He was a security guard so I don’t even think it was his job to help me find things and give me advice in the garden section, but he was knowledgeable and helpful. Even brought me a water bottle to ensure I was hydrated during my perennial shopping marathon!!

Jeff from the electrical department was just fantastic. He helped me with a range of different things that I needed and was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful with everything (not to mention patient with my really basic questions). He even took the time to explain how to install something, along with the tools I'd need, and found ways to save me money with my purchases. Can't say enough great things about Jeff!

A big and special shout out to Derek in tool rental. This is the type of employee whom deserves a raise. He was just swell to interact with and made sure my truck rental time went smoothly. Its a joy to go through him for rentals. Praise Derek.
