I came into Home Depot [Town n Country Tampa FL] for paint, not a shed. By accident, I stumbled upon a shed in the garden section with a completely destroyed box that had clearly been sitting there for years (according to the worker). When I asked about a fair discount given the condition and the high risk of missing pieces, the assistant store manager, Melissa Vazquez, was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unreasonable. She even had the workers pull the shed from the rack just because I mentioned it, yet the “solution” she offered was $50 off with no return option. Let that sink in: a destroyed, two-year-old box with potentially missing pieces, and the best she would do was $50. That is insulting and shows a total lack of common sense or customer care. I would have purchased the shed immediately if she had treated this as a real customer opportunity. Instead, her unwillingness to work with me resulted in a lost sale, wasted my time, and left me frustrated and disappointed. This kind of service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on this Home Depot location. I hope corporate takes note of Melissa Vazquez’s handling of this situation and provides training on basic customer service, because this was a complete failure.

Chris in the Paint department of Home Depot on Sheldon Road and Hillsborough Ave in Tampa, Florida went above and beyond to get us the extra paint we needed. We initially went to another store and they didn’t have enough paint so we had to travel to another store and Chris did everything he could to accommodate us getting our home project complete. Kudos to Chris in the face of adversity. We appreciate everything you did.

I just have to say, not only do I love the outdoor area of this store, but guess what?? You can bring your dog in Home Depot!! I ordered some things online to pick up curbside because I had my dog in the car with me and when I arrive to Home Depot and use the app to let them know I was there, I got a message back saying that the curbside delivery does not run after 6pm. Needless to say, I had to go inside to pick up my items and left my dog happily in the running car with the air conditioning on. While I was in there picking up my items from customer service, I asked if dogs were allowed in this location and it turns out they are. When I realized I forgot to get some pruning shears, I went back out to the car and got my buddy and took him right back inside to the gardening department. I don’t think he’s ever been any happier than he was that day in the store! Thank you Home Depot for being dog friendly!!

Last night I spent quite a bit of time online looking up what this and other stores did and did not have in stock - I get to the store and it's all BS! LESS THAN 10 HOURS AFTER I GET TO THE STORE & CAN'T FIND THEM I LOOKED IT UP AGAIN, NOT ONLY ARE THEY NOT IN STOCK HERE – THEY'RE NOT IN STOCK ANYWHERE IN THIS ZIP CODE. NEVER AGAIN HOME DEPOT!
