Stopped by The Home Depot today and honestly the experience was disappointing. The store was messy, it was hard to find help, and customer service felt rushed and uninterested. I came in for a simple home improvement project but ended up wasting a lot of time trying to get assistance. Prices were okay, but the overall shopping experience definitely didn’t match expectations. After that, I decided to drive over to Lowe's Home Improvement in Indian Trail and the difference was noticeable right away. The store was cleaner, better organized, and the staff were much more helpful and friendly. It was easier to find what I needed and checkout was smooth. I’ll probably stick with Lowe’s for future home renovation and DIY shopping around Indian Trail.

Beware**** we were rented a truck with a gas tank 1/2 filled with water! Stranded for 8 hours in VA on hwy 81. Home depot gal said to ignore engine light and water in tank notice. Claimed it was condensation. She lied!!!! If she didn’t know she should not have fabricated a reason and we would not have rented the truck. We listened to her. We had to wait for mechanic but it could not be fixed. Then waited for tow truck. Then had to reload our entire truck of pallets alone into new truck. My husband tore his knee. Fiasco!!!! Thanks A LOT HD lady!!! Manager wouldn’t return our call. Supervisor just blamed on Penske. Penske didn’t tell her to fabricate a reason coercing us to rent that truck. She did that 100% on her own.

Horrible service; terrible product quality and truly careless! The corporate office and the management team at this store should be embarrassed delivering a display grill when I asked for a new one to be built. Stickers were on it (and now I have a disparate color between the exposed and not exposed area. There is a deep scratch and gauge in it, top it off the paper work and guides are yellowed, informing me that it was most likely there for over a year(s). You (Home Depot) took advantage of a senior citizen and a customer. Shame on you and your poor selling tactics and clear approach towards taking advantage of senior citizens and your customers.

Terrible. I was looking for a Ryobi backpack sprayer. I couldn't find it so I asked an associate where it was. He told us it was on the front wall. It wasn't. So then I looked it up for myself on the website, But the website doesn't say what aisle it's in (The Lowe's website does for their products). Then the little AI chatbot popped up on the website and I asked it. It told me they had them in stock but "could not provide the aisle location". Absolutely useless. Then I went on their website to buy it, and "there was a technical error" (see picture). I'll just go to Lowe's to buy whatever their equivalent is.

During my visit, the staff member was extremely rude and unprofessional. Specifically, he claimed he could not understand me and inappropriately questioned where I am from. This behavior was disrespectful and made me feel very unwelcome. I am disappointed that such conduct is permitted in this store. It is not a decent store for me to shop in future.
