The is my store, it’s 5 minutes from my house and 99.9 % they have everything I need when I go. I posted some before and after pictures of some of the things I have done to my mother’s house. Please keep in mind that I started doing this work when I moved back to Houston from Florida 2 years aging. I have no experience in doing any of this stuff. This is something that I never in my would life would be interested in doing and as I took on these projects one at a time and began to enjoy it more and more. I think that I have done pretty well for someone who had never even planted a plant before. This Home Depot has given me all the tools that I needed to complete these projects. Thank you Home Depot for being my great neighborhood store.

I organized a Penske truck rental through this Home Depot. I thought all was fine until the day of, they call me and say I have to re-do my order because my rental was considered a one way instead of a round trip - probably because I was picking it up at one Home Depot and dropping it off at another. Apparently since it’s still considered local it HAS to be booked as a round trip. If I can’t book it that way why did system automatically set it up that way? I didn’t elect for it to be round trip or one way - the system decided that itself. And now, they are claiming I needed to pay for a $30 fee as well as the mileage at 99 center per mile even though the whole reason I booked Penske in the first place was for the unlimited mileage. I wanted to just cancel it but ended up keeping the reservation. Fast forward to pick up time. As soon as I walk into the building to pick up the rental, they call me to tell me they GAVE AWAY MY RENTAL TO SOMEONE ELSE. Literally, what is wrong with you people??? You waste my afternoon to call me and charge me more money for a rental that I booked, get me to keep the reservation, just to make me waste my time to come in for you to give it away to someone else. I don’t have time to waste running to different locations. I have a schedule I need to keep to and this completely messed it all up for me. This is absolutely abysmal service. Never book here!!!

Used to have joyful visits to this specific store due to the degree of its staff readiness to help but this time I had to wait for 40 mins for a staff to come and help me despite they have been called 4 times! Short staffing?!!! Where's your famous slogan [ You can do it, we can help]?!!!

Arrived today to buy tools for my husband's birthday. PETER helped me get the exact right Ryobi power drill and set of bits. He was so helpful! Added note his supervisor David was also very nice! 100% helpful staff, and where my dollars will consistantly be spent!
