Rex a month agoI went in to pick up some gardening items. There was plenty of selection to choose from. A staffer pointed me to the correct area where my item was located. Very friendly. Self checkout, still waiting to see a cost saving from this exchange of labor😉
Santos Ramon 7 months agoI bought the tool box, in the first picture thanks to Pixie for deceiving me. Caught my eye because it was a great price. I was told they would hold it so I can drive across town to get my truck (wasn’t expecting to buy a tool box today). I come back less than 2 hours later and they swapped out the box. I was under the impression I was getting the first box pictured. I told Roxanne this is not the box I was expecting. She mentioned the box I wanted was $548 but could bring it down to $448. I decided to return the box, cut my loss on my time and gas. However it took 30 minutes to return this box that never left the store due to their system. Erika mentioned there’s nothing that she can do and IT was going to have to help out. Now I just have to hope and trust I get my refund. Thanks Home Depot for the sour taste.
Marcus Jimenez a year agoAbsolute disappointment that I wouldn't have believed if my parents didn't show proof. This morning my parents came into your store to shop and while waiting for assistance my mother called me for advice on an issue they were having (I myself work at a hardware store). As I spoke to my mom she showed me several moments where Home Depot utterly lacked customer service skills, or even common sense for that matter. My 70 year old father was attempting to get concrete blocks for a project he was working on and asked for customer assistance several times as they did not have any on the first shelf and only had stock on the second shelf up. NOT ONE ASSOCIATE HELPED MY FATHER. He had to climb up on the orange cart and retrieve the concrete himself! Had he fallen that would have been his fault, but he would have been well within his right to sue. That's only one issue. Later on as he was attempting to grab lumber and was able to locate an associate in the area and asked for help getting lumber off some of the higher shelves. The gentlemen who worked there brought him a ladder then left him alone to get the product himself. As a business I need you to let that sink in. He was a younger man and I'm assuming you hired him because he was capable of doing the tasks required of him (such as climbing and descending stairs/ladders and carrying loads of up to 25 lbs). How shocked was I to find out my father (once again a 70 year old man) was having to climb and descend a ladder with heavy product in hand. Once again, maybe his fault if he fell due to not being able to maintain 3 points of contact on the ladder but also, once again, he'd be well within his right to sue as YOU ALL HAD PUT HIM IN THAT SITUATION WITH YOUR MISERABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thankfully another customer came to his rescue to help him actually grab the lumber he needed. How do you not have people walking the floor looking for these issues? What does your management even do if not this? Shame on you Home Depot. I'm astonished you even have a 4.2 rating with how y'all treat your customers.
Dania Shikman 6 months agoI always have an outstanding experience at Home Depot @ Evans thanks to Steven and Josue. These days it’s honestly rare to find employees who are both willing and genuinely happy to help when you need a hand loading heavy or bulky material by yourself. Steven and Josue are the exception. They're both always happy to help and do so in an incredibly kind, patient, and helpful way, handling everything with such a positive attitude that they truly stand out. Shout out to Lucy and the girls @ the pro desk. Also very helpful. All of them are absolutely amazing and deserve recognition. Thank you, guys snd gals, for restoring my faith in customer service!
Dan Timoskevich 3 months agoIf you're buying a repackaged product at full retail price, you would expect at a bare minimum, that Home Depot would check to make sure all the parts are inside the box and that old batteries have been removed. Had to go back and get another box only to find out that the other one also had missing parts. I might go back to Home Depot one day to buy a screw or sand but never again to buy any product that has parts. Quality control is clearly lacking. Also, after many back and forths of "Yes we do, no we don't, yes we do" they DO NOT receive fluorescent lights for disposal. Lowe's, however, will accept.
