This Home Depot was the best one I have ever been to. I was there around 8:45 to pick up a few PPE items and a lock. Hands down the very best customer service I’ve had in my life. This store has set the tone and has blown my mind. Every single person working there acknowledged me, said hello, asked if I needed help. Blown away!!!! Kudos to you and your team!!!!

I came to the store needing a part that I was not having much luck finding, I was approached by an associate named Brady that asked if I needed any help. Showed Brady what I needed and he knew right away what part it was and walked me straight to the part and let me make sure the fit and was what I needed before he walked off. Brady is the type of associate that makes all the difference and knows his job well. 5 stars for Brady all day!! Thank you Brady!!!

Ty helped me out BIG TIME!!! Received exceptional customer service from him. He went above and beyond to make what I needed happen and I’m very grateful. Thank you Ty! You made a lasting impression my first visit at this store. Team members like like you make a difference.

I will start by saying I'm more of a Lowe's guy for the exact reasons I will mention here. I came in because the item that I was looking for is substantially cheaper at home Depot (most items are pretty comparable price wise usually)and I happened to be by one so I stopped in. There was hardly anyone around to assist which seems to be the norm. When I located the isle I need there was someone actually there stocking shelves. I found one item fairly easily but the next item took some searching. The employee never acknowledged me in any way and at one point crossed my path (no "hello", "how are you" "can I help you"... Something please. Customer service is key for me and it always seems to be a fail here. It's like it doesn't matter whether the team has any common courtesy toward the customers. Same when I went to the register. There was someone there by the self checkout lines, she looked right at me, no greettng or suggested direction toward a particular register just kind of watched. I went to the nearest available register, scanned, bagged and payed as she stood to my left watching me (she acknowledged a co-worker passing by) then I completed my transaction got my receipt, no "thank you", "have a nice day"... Nothing. I don't want to believe this is the culture and norm for Home Depot but that seems to be my experience every time and I have been to several here in SA but also around the country. I rated a 3 because I was able to find what I needed and did save a little money, but the service deserves 1 star.

To: Store Manager Home Depot 1066 Central Pkwy S San Antonio, TX 78232 Subject: Concern About Poor Service at Equipment Rental Department Dear Store Manager, I’m writing to share my disappointment regarding the service I received at your store on November 3rd at around 1:15 p.m. My companion and I visited to rent a plumbing auger, which weighs approximately 220 pounds. We have rented equipment from Home Depot before, and in the past, employees have always been helpful and assisted us with safely loading the equipment into our truck. However, during this visit, the staff at the rental counter refused to help us load the auger. When we asked for assistance, the clerk responded in a rude manner and waved a laminated piece of paper, saying that employees are not required to help with loading. We were also told that if we couldn’t load the machine ourselves, we could cancel the contract. Because of this unhelpful and discourteous experience, we decided to cancel the rental and leave the store. Afterward, we went to another Home Depot location at 435 W Sunset Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209, to rent the same plumbing auger. The staff there were extremely courteous and professional. The clerk used a lifter to help us load the 220-pound machine safely into our truck, and we truly appreciated their positive and helpful attitude. The contrast in service between the two stores was very noticeable. I hope you can review this matter with your team to ensure that customers are treated with consistent courtesy, respect, and support at all locations.
