Peter at Home Depot Midtown is the reason I keep coming back. I am a real estate developer building new construction homes in the area. Midtown is my closest store, and as I have started taking over more of my own project management, I have been building out a serious tool collection. Peter has helped me with drills, saws, blowers, paint sprayers, and everything in between. He knows his tools at a level you do not see often. He listens before he recommends, he asks the right questions about the job, and he never tries to upsell me on something I do not need. That kind of expertise saves real money on a job site. It also saves time, which on active builds is just as valuable. I also have to recognize Darren, the assistant branch manager. Every time I walk in, he greets me and asks if I need help. He gave me his number for product inquiries and has come through every single time. Peter is a hidden gem and Darren leads from the front. This branch is doing something right, and these two go beyond expectations!

Just had the nicest experience with an employee named James. I had a ton of stuff in my cart from the Garden department. He saw me walking to my car and politely offered to help put everything in my car. He took my cart immediately and pushed it to my car, emptied the belongings (heavy soil, fertilizer, rakes, etc.) and took the cart back to the store. He was friendly, proactive, and went above beyond for the store itself (he didn’t have to return the cart as there was a cart area right near my car that was empty). 10/10 service. Please reward great employees!

I had to rent a vehicle recently to finish my move and I used Home Depot and they did a fine job get me in and out of there. I was a little bit disappointed. I was gonna get a piece of plywood go underneath my mattress to help firm it up but it was very expensive and I couldn’t get any help so little disappointed, but i wasn’t coming in there to spend a bunch of money building a new house. I just needed a piece of plywood so I guess I was down the list of priorities in that particular store no worries maybe next time they’ll do their job

Yesterday was devastating for me because I got locked out of my house and I had to pay $150 to a locksmith just to get back in. I have been pretty somber about it. Coming into Home Depot today to get spare keys made after a hard lesson learned being able to see a very kind face to greet me at the Key Center, Brandon Stewart really made things better. He was very kind and he spoke to me the whole time the keys were getting made ask me how my day was going and even said that he hope my day gets better. You never know what someone’s going through and he made the situation even just a little bit better wanted to make sure that his associates know that🙏🏽🩷
