Just visited the Garden Center at Home Depot off of Cascade Road. I was extremely disappointed with the selection of plants/flowers. I don’t understand how you can have standing pools of water everywhere but dried out flowers. There were racks and racks inside of plants the needed to be tagged and put out for selection. Lastly, there were only two women working and one lady standing in the booth just talking to the cashier. Both associates were talking loudly on their personal phones and ignoring the customers. This is not acceptable. Management needs to get a tighter grip on training them on the importance of customer service. Clearly the associates cannot self govern and require someone to micro manage them.

Dazetta and Rika were an essential help to me on two separate occasions this week during. Easter. I wanted to highlight why these Home Depot team members deserve a competitive raise. Dazetta’s humorous and engaging personality partnered with her accuracy and dedication to filling my online order are why I believe she is a staple for the Home Depot brand. I had two separate orders and she pleasantly inquired to make sure my order was filled. I appreciate her kindness and willingness to assist me during the busy Easter week. Rika assisted me a few days later. My husband ordered concrete and multiple pebbles for the front yard. Home Depot was short-staffed and she expeditiously put on her gloves and began lifting the order into the vehicle. I assured her that I would be delighted to collaborate with her seeing that she was working with a particularly heavy order. Rika is the design and the model of customer care because she was positive, encouraging, and eager to assist me. A ten to twenty percent increase in their compensation is warranted for both Dazetta and Rika. Thank you ladies for being an excellent models of customer appreciation! P. S. The same satisfaction and great customer care also was also achieved by Deshawn and Nico. They are amazingly talented additions to the Home Depot on Cascade Road establishment. Raises should be considered for these wonderful associates as well!

Today at Home Depot, I actually had to bring in a mop because I didn’t have the right size head for the refill. I went straight to Customer Service because I already knew they would take care of me. The manager, Tosh — I think her name was Tasha — provided stellar customer service. She went out of her way to make sure I got the correct mop for what I needed. That’s exactly why I enjoy coming to this location. Definitely 10-star service.

I had a very frustrating experience at The Home Depot located at 1032 Research Center Drive SW in Atlanta. I went in to return an item that I originally purchased from another Home Depot location. I first went to the return desk, where I was told they could not process my return and that I would need to go back to the original store where the purchase was made. That immediately raised a red flag, because it directly contradicts what Home Depot advertises on their own website. After putting my items back in my vehicle, I went back inside and attempted to speak with a manager. Instead, I was directed to an associate at the Pro Desk, who repeated the exact same thing, that I could not return my item at that location because it was purchased elsewhere. According to Home Depot’s official return policy, customers are clearly told they can return items to any store, even if purchased online or from another location, as long as they have a receipt, card, and valid ID. I had all of that. This experience felt misleading and extremely unprofessional. At this point, it comes across as false advertising, and it’s something I will be addressing further. This is not my first issue with this location, but it will absolutely be my last. The staff here appear to lack proper training, and that leads to confusion, inconsistency, and a poor customer experience. I expect better from a company like Home Depot.
