JOHN B LESTER 8 months agoThere is an old saying, "Home is Where the Heart Is . As a travler who has lived in many different places. I prefer the saying, "Home is a Place You Put Your Heart Into." A concept of a Crafty Home Game with a Home Depot Field Advantage. Since Home Depot has made desert centered, their Garden Center around desert plants. Cactus and succubus now have a way of fitting into Home Life. Much like the Homely Christmas carol fittingly remodeled. "I Will Be Home Modeling for the Holidays."
Dodger Blue (Dodgers89134) a month agoStopped by Home Depot looking for supplies for my succulent collection and ended up finding exactly what I needed. The garden center had a great selection of fast-draining soil mixes, cactus soil, pumice, and fertilizers for succulents and desert plants. The employees were friendly and helped me compare different options instead of just pointing me down an aisle. Everything was organized, healthy, and well stocked. My plants are already looking happier after the repotting. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Las Vegas for succulent supplies!
Ken 2 months agoI rented tools from two different locations on the same day, and the difference in service was significant. At the first location, the employee was professional and transparent. She clearly explained the optional damage protection coverage and allowed me to make an informed decision, which I declined. However, my experience at the second location was completely different. Upon arrival, the clerk immediately questioned my choice of tool, making comments about how it is “only used in Las Vegas” and referencing his background rather than providing any helpful guidance. Another employee then joined the interaction and attempted to reinforce the same point, but neither of them offered any practical recommendations or alternatives to help me complete my job. Since I still needed to get the work done, I selected a different tool on my own. I was told the rental would cost $24 per day with a $75 deposit. Having already paid a deposit at the previous location, I still proceeded without complaint. The issue arose when I returned the tool and reviewed my receipt. I discovered that I had been charged for damage protection without it ever being discussed or disclosed to me. This was especially concerning because, earlier that same day at another location, I had been clearly informed that this coverage was optional and was given the choice to decline it. Adding charges to a contract without informing the customer is unacceptable. It reflects poor customer service and raises serious concerns about transparency and business practices. As someone who works in sales, I understand the importance of offering add-ons—but they must be communicated clearly and agreed upon, not quietly included. I am currently in a difficult financial situation after losing my job, and unexpected charges like this make a real impact. Customers should not have to worry about undisclosed fees being added to their transactions. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend better training and accountability for staff in the tool rental department to ensure all charges are clearly explained before completing a transaction. Until then, I would advise others to carefully review their contracts or consider using a different location or competitor. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
Danielle Gee 3 months agoI’ve been looking for a washer and dryer and have gone to several stores, but Don in the appliance section stood out. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, and pointed out details on the sales tags that no other associates had explained before. He gave me a lot of useful information that really helped during my search. Thank you, Don!
Lupe Noriega 5 months agoAs someone who works in customer service i can confirm that Olivia deserves more than 5 stars for her service. I lost some items while shopping at this location, when I realized I contacted Customer Service and Olivia went above and beyond to make sure the staff on site knew of my missing items and that’s she would contact me back in case it was found. Not even 24 hrs. later Olivia contacted me and informed my items were found. Thank you for your excellent customer service and all the staff at Home Depot that took the time to help me recover my items. You guys are amazing!
